Carli Christina

My name is Carli Christina, and I am an artist from Bremerton who is in love with the world of fantasy. I

specialize primarily in gouache paint and ink work, however sometimes I use watercolor pencils and

pastels to create different effects and textures. I use these two mediums to convey multidimensional

concepts, like two worlds colliding.

My art often explores life and its ups and downs, the light and the dark side of spirituality, and the humor in existence itself through a dark yet funny and whimsical lens. Lately I have been exploring these themes through nature and underappreciated animals, like the opossum and raccoon! A lot of the elements I illustrate in my work are heavily inspired by the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest.
